Both organizations have joined together to file a lawsuit against WVDOH and FHWA to stop construction of Corridor H Wardensville to the state line. Both are continuing to advocate for "spot" improvements on nearby existing roads that will improve traffic flow and safety while protecting our heritage and our environment.
Stewards of the Potomac Highlands (Stewards) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit citizens group that networks in West Virginia’s northeastern counties plus surrounding Maryland and Virginia counties to protect its natural heritage and support an environmentally and socially sustainable, locally controlled economy.
